From The Pond

All my tangles have turned to lumps and ossified,
All my neurons are sterile and still,
Stupid and limp like a handful of seaweed;
I am brainless, an amoeba,
A dumb mass of blood vessels
Wrapped in cold skin.
I am as murky and stagnant
As the waters that surround me.
I hold no thoughts or emotions
Anymore,
No language and no words.
I wish to be mingled forever
With the moon's reflection
And fade with it.
I wish to dissolve
Into this pond,
Into Infinity.
